Located in the northwest region of Bulgaria, Vidin serves as a vital administrative and cultural hub for its residents and visitors. This municipality, while small in size, plays an essential role in preserving local heritage, promoting regional development, and enhancing the quality of life for its citizens. To better serve its community and visitors, the municipality wanted to create a modern website that would centralize all essential information in one place. From details on local events, holidays, and administrative services to key updates and contact information, the website aims to be a one-stop platform. While keeping a simple design to reflect its functional nature, the site is modern and intuitive, making it easy for users to find the information they need quickly and efficiently.

One of the key challenges was ensuring the platform remained easy to update, allowing municipal staff to make changes without relying on technical professionals. To solve this, we integrated a straightforward content management system that empowered the municipality’s team to take control of the website’s content. The end result is a site that’s accessible and manageable for those who maintain it, fulfilling the municipality’s need for a modern, efficient online presence.

Stage 1: Design
The website’s design was made by another studio, that we entered in collaboration for this project. The primary goal was to create a clean, professional look that not only reflects the official nature of the municipality but also introduces modern features that make the site more accessible to everyone. Legible fonts were carefully selected to improve readability and ensure the site’s accessibility for all users. The layout was thoughtfully structured to make it easy for visitors to navigate, allowing them to quickly find the information they need. By focusing on clarity, functionality, and simplicity, the design stays true to the municipality’s identity while providing a seamless and efficient experience for users, regardless of their technical abilities or familiarity with digital platforms.
4. the development
Stage 2: Development
The development of the municipality’s website was focused on making sure it’s easy to use, fast, and reliable. We built the site to work smoothly on both computers and mobile devices, ensuring everyone can access it no matter what device they’re using. The backend of the website allows the municipality’s team to easily add and update information without needing technical help. We made sure the site was secure and fast so it’s always ready to serve the public’s needs. Throughout the development process, we did thorough testing to make sure everything worked well, and we built the site in a way that can easily grow and change as the municipality’s needs evolve over time. This way, the website will remain a helpful, reliable resource for years to come.
